Café Paradis offers longer hours for night festivities than any club in the city. There are three floors of something to do. The first two levels feature top foreign films (usually Italian and French film noir), and the third level features a happening café and disco that rocks until the wee hours of the morning.

Muiskhuset Århus is an impressive concert center with people coming and going at all hours. Since it is convenient to the Radisson SAS, this would be an easy and culturally enlightening evening stop. You can pick up a program in the lobby. You will find programs such as opera, dance, musicals and concerts.

At the north end of the city center in a renovated factory, Musikcaféen serves up alternative music that encompasses reggae, jazz, salsa, techno and hip-hop. Most times entry is free, although if a noted name is performing, admission can reach 50-70DKK.

This is a must for whiskey drinkers and cigar smokers! It is owned and run by a Brit with a great sense of humor. They have just about any brand of whiskey you can imagine, along with Havana and other cigars. It is not a large place, but it has comfy chairs, and on Sunday afternoons they have the "Young Poet's Society" come and do readings. The walls are adorned with old items such as radios from the '40's. This is a very popular place with the locals.

This converted warehouse is three levels of disco mania for a crowd that usually ranges in age from 23 (must be at least 23 to enter) to 40-something. Dance to the memorable disco tunes from the '70's and '80's on the top floor before working your way down to a more pub-like atmosphere where the music is a bit more modern and techno. Definitely puts the fun into nightlife.
