3. Goombay Festival

The Buzz -- This annual summer event features a host of Bahamian activities, from live local music to tasty spreads of native eats, including the ubiquitous conch and Goombay Smash. Art and craft booths, lively parades and marching bands all add to the convivial atmosphere.
