Housed in the world's second largest granite building, this museum features an amazing collection of anthropological artifacts. Many of the items were donated by former students who served as missionaries, doctors, soldiers, and entrepreneurs around the world.

This charming 16th century mansion has been converted into an award-winning museum. Exhibits chronicle the city's long maritime history and feature a reconstructed oil rig and lighthouse. There's also a gift shop and café on-site.

Planetarium

ATOCHA. This splendid planetarium offers an amazing glimpse at the solar system. You can enjoy simulated "trips" through the universe and exhibits recapturing lunar eclipses and comets.

Provost Skene's House

This famous 16th century building has enjoyed a long and storied history. Initially employed as lodging for Aberdeen's affluent citizens, the home was later transformed into a boarding home. Its namesake was John Skene, an affluent 17th century merchant, and the home was nearly destroyed in the 1930s. The present-day house is adorned with costumes, items of local history, and period furnishings. It also frequently serves as a reenactments site.
