"Mither Kirk" of St. Nicholas

This interesting, pre-Reformation church is a symbol of the colorful past of the region. Today, this location is home to four separate churches. Great sightseeing opportunity.

Church of St. Nicholas

Established in the 12th century, the church recently celebrated its 500th year anniversary. Formerly the country's largest medieval church, St. Nicholas is noted for its Gothic flourishes and its 48 bells.

St. Andrew's Cathedral

This Gothic sandstone cathedral was built in 1816, and the porch was added in 1911. St. Andrew's spawned the United States' Episcopal church, as America's first bishop was ordained here in 1874.

St. Mary's Cathedral

Address: Huntly St, Aberdeen, UK

Among the city's tallest buildings, thanks in part to its towering spire. This Gothic revival structure was established in 1860, with later additions in 1877.
