Located next to an inn, there are lots of good things to say about this restaurant. The decor is lodge-like and woodsy, and the staff, from the maitre d' to the servers, are quite interesting characters. The restaurant is known for its bar food at lunchtime as well as the creative contemporary Scottish cuisine it serves at night. Reservations recommended.

Ultra chic, this eatery is found in a now defunct church and the decor and ambience are very stylish. The food is typical brasserie fare (hearty and filling) and the drink menu ranges from beers to ciders. Reservations recommended.

This resort hotel is well known for the two restaurants on-site. Locals and visitors alike frequent either Simpson's, which is a Georgian-style dining room with a menu featuring contemporary cuisine, or Carmine's Bar. The bar has simpler fare and both are excellent choices to enjoy a menu in the beauty of a rural Scottish mansion. Reservations recommended.
