Although this is classic bistro dining, Martha's menu also offers some more adventurous entrées. Aside from the traditional bangers and mash, there's a bread bowl full of soup and other epicurean delights. The atmosphere is friendly and casual and the staff cordial.

With a well-lit, open ambience, this welcoming pub makes a great stop to enjoy a bite. The decor features stained glass windows and red and white table linens. The Granary Pub offers a diverse menu that even includes Mexican fajitas, salmon, and vegetable brochettes, as well as several homemade soups.

Although the Wild Boar boasts a bistro feel, it is also a bar, restaurant, gallery, and disco. This is one of the city's most popular hangouts, so book your reservations early if you plan to eat.

Who would of thought that an Aberdeen chocolatier located down a narrow back street would serve some of the best take-out sandwiches around? The shop is tiny and the waiting line, which is filled with both businessmen and students, can be long. The shop prepares delicious sandwiches packed with meats and the lunch box includes a drink. Once inside the shop, beware! A case of delicious chocolates will beckon, so bring an appetite.
