3. Akron Zoo

Great for Toddlers!
I take my little ones to this zoo all the time. It's just right for little ones who won't stay in a stroller long, can't walk far, and inevitably need a nap. It doesn't take all day to get through and there are plenty of hands on activities to free up some pent up energy. They may not have alot of large zoo animals, but they have the basics covered.
