2. Akron Art Museum

Established in 1922 in Akron, the museum features 20,000 square feet of exhibit space where you'll experience artwork created from the mid-nineteenth century on. The art inside isn't the only attraction here – head to the new Knight building to see a combination of glass and metal finished in 2007 at this Akron art museum, which houses works from artists like Andy Warhol, Chuck Close and Ohio’s own William Sommer, to name a few.   (© 10Best)
