The Buzz -- Just as many like it across the country, First Night Akron offers an alternative way for families to ring in the New Year. A parade down Main Street and fireworks happen on the early side for those little ones who might not make it until midnight. All other activities take place indoors (and out of the December chill) and are alcohol-free. Over 70 artists will perform.
