8. Yankee Peddler Festival

The Buzz -- For families who can't get enough of hands-on history, step back in time to when Ohio was the 14th colony. Here craftsmen and women and entertainers come together in authentic dress to recreate an era of simplicity of the original Yankee Peddlers who travelled throughout early Ohio from 1776-1825. More contemporary art and craft is available too, as is great food cooked over an open fire in the traditional style.
