3. El Pinto

We visited this restaurant based on the 10Best rating and were not let down. This is definitely worth the drive to the somewhat strange location but not to far from the city center. The the stuffed sopaipilla was very good and the chicken green chile stew was outstanding. The patio was small and only partly open as we were there after the balloon festival in late October but was still very nice and comparable to some San Diego patio dining. The staff from the Hostess to the Waiters were very friendly and prompt.
