It's a fiesta all the time at this great Mexican restaurant. The margaritas are cold, the guacamole is prepared tableside, and the atmosphere is all bright colors and traditional Mexican decor.   (© 10Best)

great food, reasonable price
I had lunch at Garduno's next to Winrock in ABQ. The green chile chicken enchilada lunch special was just right...it tasted great, good portion size, and it only cost $6. i don't think you could beat the price on good Mexican food anywhere else in town. My only complaint is that our server was so involved in great conversation with the table next to us that he forgot to refill our drinks until we were almost done eating, and getting his attention on it wasn't easy. Other than that it is a great place to eat, i would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting good Mexican food.

I was extremely disappointed in Garduno's. My quintessential Mexican order was dry and bland and the frozen margarita was not well blended.

Wow. I'm not really sure how anybody could like this restaurant. The restaurant itself is fine, but the service I have received on every visit is poor. Even worse, the 'Mexican' food is some of the most Americanized food I've ever had. Perhaps if you are from Nebraska this restaurant will be up your alley, but if you are in the mood for REAL Mexican food, don't even consider Garduno's!
