Located in the heart of Old Town, this popular restaurant, housed in a historic building that dates back to the founding of Albuquerque in 1706, is famous for many breakfast options. These include the Church Street Omelette and their huevos rancheros. Great lunch menu includes excellent papas y carnitas and sopapillas, and the salsa is magnificent!

This was a very nice restaurant for breakfast in Old Town. The green chile is excellant and as were the huevos ranchero's with the blue corn tortillas. The staff was pleasant but just a little slow when busy. We would definitely come back for breakfast, but didn't get a chance to try lunch or dinner.

Myself and My wife were train packing through North America. (30-Day Amtrak Pass). When we arrived at Old Town none of the regular shops were open yet. We had asked the only person we saw on the streets about a good place to eat and were referred to this restaurant as the best in Albuquerque. To our surprise we would have to agree. The food was excellent as was the service and value. As a bonus - when we asked if there were lockers in the area - the owner graciously agreed to watch our backpacks while we toured Old Town. We thoroughly enjoyed our day, picked up our backpacks and took a pedicab back to the train station to continue our adventure around North America.
