NOB HILL.   A local favorite for more than 30 years, this is the definitive place for smoked barbecue. Offerings include steaks, shrimp, an excellent shish-ka-bob and Alaskan king crab. The green chili stew and Greek chicken soup are exceptional.   (© 10Best)

A Hometown Favorite
The Quarters has been a family favorite for many years, for reasonably priced well-prepared food. If you visit, look past the pricier dinners, and try the Rib Sandwich (actually a half rack placed over a slab of texas toast). The sandwiches are tasty and filling. This restaurant is not however, a barbeque afficienado's haven.
