6. Matilda's Enchanted Cottage

ALPHARETTA.   Folk arts supporter and gallery owner Mary Jane Potter shows work from local and regional craftsmen in her cozy location. The kitschy feel of this gallery provides the perfect setting for the work exhibited as it lacks the stuffy and pretentious feel of many In-town folk art destinations. Three buildings on one lot; two for folk art and a newer one for contemporary art. This is a real gallery (as opposed to those gift shops closer to town that call themselves galleries) and yet there is a wide range of prices on the art works available. You must go!
