CENTRAL CANAL RING. This tastefully furnished apartment is set in a 1675 canal house and is located in the midst of downtown Amsterdam. It features a private entrance, a spacious lounge and bedroom and fully-equipped kitchen. The private bathroom has a bath and shower. The apartment comes equipped with TV, CD player, Internet access, microwave, coffee-maker, toaster and refrigerator. Museums, attractions and restaurants are just steps away. No breakfast is served because the locale is full of charming places to enjoy the first bite of the day.

DE PIJP. Set in a circa-1910 home, this bed-and-breakfast was completely renovated by its current owners and now offers comfortable, minimalist rooms. The pale, serene surroundings provide a welcome counterpoint to the bustling city. Rooms come equipped with private bath (with shower), Internet access, TV, VCR, and use of the kitchen for hot beverages. A full breakfast is served daily, and restaurants, attractions, museums, and Vondelpark are all within close proximity.
