5. Restaurant Greetje

I wanted to try everything on the menu; so we went for the Big Beginning, shared both the Tub Gurnard and the Veal Tongue with Sweetbreads, and ended with the Grand Finale. All of these being expertly prepared on-site from the finest ingredients, beautifully presented and professionally served. Lingering at the table afterwards to sample the extensive collection of locally distilled liqueurs rounded off the evening in style. The restaurant's quirky layout with steps, due to its location in an historic building, only adds to the warm, relaxed atmosphere. A dining experience that bears comparison with restaurants outside the Netherlands.
