Nightlife in Anchorage is somewhat sedate, probably because the active and outdoorsy natives are tuckered out once the sun sets. Even so, Anchorage boasts some locally notorious, and in a few cases, nationally famous, bars and musical venues. Whether you like to dance or just listen, you will be able to find live entertainment every night of the week. Anchorage does offer a host of cultural activities.
