DOWNTOWN.   Alaska's oldest steakhouse is still one of the best places to dine in Anchorage. Parisian-style street lamps and a mural of the City of Light give the establishment its name. Start your evening with a martini at the atmospheric bar, and then dine on the house special filet mignon, a four-inch-thick slice of beef broiled to order.
