4. Glacier Brewhouse

DOWNTOWN.   This brewpub became an immediate sensation when it debuted in 1997. Its menu features dishes like spicy fried calamari, amber ale-battered halibut, spit-roasted prime rib, and applewood-grilled salmon with garlic mashed potatoes. Also making excellent accompaniments to the craft brews on tap are the restaurant's brick-oven pizzas.
