This fine restaurant, located on the twentieth floor of the Hotel Captain Cook, is decorated with rich teak paneling between floor-to-ceiling windows that provide panoramic sunset views over Cook Inlet. The elegant cuisine is described as "light French" with an emphasis on fresh Alaskan seafood. Try the pan-seared scallops or the tender New Zealand lamb. For a memorable, if upscale version of surf-n-turf, savor the filet mignon with brandy-flamed lobster. The extensive wine cellars boasts more than 1000 bottles - a varied enough selection to please the most discriminating palate. The five-course set menu is fabulous.
