MIDTOWN.   If you're craving Thai, you'll almost certainly be directed to this appealing restaurant. The unassuming place serves fabulous food and offers a nice change of pace from the ubiquitous halibut presented at other Anchorage restaurants. Start with house special "fresh rolls" or a bowl of fiery Tom Khar Gai soup, a concoction of coconut milk, chicken, lemongrass, and ginger. Pan-fried garlic chicken makes an excellent entrée, as does traditional pad Thai. Thai iced tea is a wonderful beverage accompaniment.   (© 10Best)
