3. Anchorage Market & Festival

DOWNTOWN.   From May through September, this downtown market is held every weekend. More than 350 booths sell such wares as produce, hand-dipped candles, smoked salmon, reindeer sausage, hand-thrown ceramics, paintings of Alaskan landscapes, used books, and antiques.
