DOWNTOWN.   David Green has a pedigree dating back to the 1600s. His family members have been furriers since 1690, and they have operated out of Alaska since 1922. Green's designs are uniquely Alaska – mukluks, slippers, and warm winter parkas are ready for purchase, or you can design your own piece. There are bargains galore in the outlet center, right next to the main store. Remember that Alaska has no sales tax, so this is a good spot for a splurge on a luxury item.   (© 10Best)
