A footbridge over the stream and a wooden viewing platform lets visitors watch the Chinook (King) salmon as they swim upstream to spawn each spring. This is a favorite fishing spot, and you can spend a pleasant morning watching anglers vie for the largest catch of the day. If you want to try your own luck, you can rent gear at several streamside kiosks. Be sure you have the appropriate license since the game wardens frequent this spot.
