The Buzz -- Ann Arbor Civic Theatre presents Mel Brooks' irreverent musical, "The Producers." As in the film of the same name, the story concerns two theatrical producers who scheme to get rich by overselling interests in a Broadway flop. Complications arise when the show unexpectedly turns out to be successful. Flamboyant directors, devoted pigeons, and a trio of very naughty little old ladies join the two title characters in bringing the production to life.
This production, running at 8 pm Thursday, September 10 through Saturday, September 12, and 2 pm Sunday, September 13 features performers from Ann Arbor and the surrounding area.
