Argo Nature Area

Accessible by several small paths, this park features Argo Pond, flanked by foot trails that wind through lush willow and oak trees to the canoe livery off Longshore Drive. Rare species of birds have been sighted in the grassy areas. The trail wanders beneath a railroad bridge and follows the millrace to Detroit Edison's old brick power plants near the Broadway Bridge.
