Though Annapolis has a plethora of historic homes, the Chase-Lloyd House is a must-see. Built in 1769-74, this home belonged to Samuel Chase, a signer of the Declaration of Independence. Best-known for its spectacular interior design, only the first-floor rooms are on view as the house is a presently a home for retired women. Though touring the house is a good deal at $2, hours are limited.
