This 23-acre county park is a must-see for three reasons. The first is the William Brown House, a three-story brick mansion perched high above the South River. Built in 1769, the house is one of the only surviving structures of Maryland's oldest town. The 8 acres surrounding the property are magnificent and feature an abundance of lush gardens. And not to be missed is the archeological site surrounding the home. Researchers are working to uncover remnants of the missing village, dating to the late 17th century.
