Attended a girl scout overnight event at the museum. The activites planned were adequate. HOwever, the organizer/leader of the event was not very pleasant or kid friendly. The cooking conditions were unsanitary. No soap in the bathrooms. Adults who were dropping children off for the event were not allowed to enter the museum if they were not spending the night, even if only to help the kids carry their stuff in. No specific sleeping areas were designated, and AFTER children had set up for the night, they were told they could'nt sleep in certain area because event organizers were sleeping in those areas. We were told lights out at 12, NO TALKING AFTER 12, then we were given a lecture by the event organizer on how to make sure kids went to sleep. Then we were told NO ONE was to be up before 7 am.

This facility is dirty, and lacks the basic amenities one would expect from an organization engaged in educating young children. It was a tremendous disappointment. Our little one is three years old d even he was disappointed in the outing!

I was disappointed in this so-called "children's museum". It reminded me of a Goodwill store with used and dated toys. The art center was a joke with dried up markers and glue. It was small, dirty, and uninspiring. I would not recommend this place as a Top 10 place to go in Annapolis. Save your money. My 4 kids and I were ready to go within 30minutes.
