The Buzz -- As Maryland's premier annual outdoor event, the Maryland Renaissance Festival offers good food and fun for children and adults. This 22-acre recreation of an authentic English village features more than 200 performers, 10 stages, a 5000 seat jousting area, 148 craft shops, and 48 food and beverage facilities. Take part in the festival each weekend from August through October in the town, just outside of Annapolis, appropriately named Crownsville.
