Zen meets Surf and Turf in this hip restaurant located on popular Main Street in historic Annapolis. Aqua Terra dazzles patrons with creative dishes blending sensory experience and presenation. "Aqua" entrees include Japanese spiney lobster tail and sesame seared, sushi grade tuna while "Terra" fans can indulge in an array of dishes including pan-seared duck breast or tomato and asparagus risotto. A fine culinary choice for most appetites.

This Annapolis icon may appear ordinary, but it's been a local favorite for over three decades. Just minutes from the Annapolis City Dock, Cantler's serves heaping plates of piping hot blue crabs, oysters, clams and fish. This restaurant, consistently voted Best Crab House in Annapolis, prides itself on its "come as you are" atmosphere so be sure to arrive early to avoid the crowds.

Don't let its unassuming appearance fool you – Jalapeños is a treat for the senses. Featuring classic cuisine from Spain and Mexico, this restaurant offers tantalizing dishes served in a warm, relaxed atmosphere. Though famous for its high quality Tapas Bar, Jalapeños also serves a variety of appetizing Yucatecan dishes including hand-stuffed jalapeños and chiles rellenos. Reservations are recommended at this popular, west-side establishment.

Don't be alarmed by the staff's loud shouts of "Iras-shai!" They're simply welcoming you to this unique, upbeat little restaurant located in the historic district. Excellent cuts of meat and fresh ingredients make Joss Cafe and Sushi Bar a delightful choice for either lunch or dinner. The menu includes a wide selection of traditional Japanese cuisine as well as fine wines and Japanese beer and sake. Though the restaurant can get crowded, the experience is well worth the wait.

Twenty-three years ago, the Abi-Najm family opened the first Lebanese Taverna. The restaurant now has 5 locations and enjoys a loyal following. The Lebanese Taverna in Annapolis Harbour Center is the newest addition to the family. Less formal than its counterparts, it is well-known for its wide range of mezza or appetizers as well as its delicious, well-priced chicken and lamb dishes and relaxed family atmosphere.

This enchanting restaurant evokes images of 19th-century Paris. Murals, high ceilings with tall columns, mirrors and the copper-topped bar provide an appropriate background for the restaurant's sumptous French cuisine. Les Folies Brasserie has the largest raw bar in the Washington area as well as a nice selection of French comfort foods, wines and specialty coffees. No detail is spared in this charming establishment.
