OLD CITY.   De Peerdestal means "the horse stable," and horsemeat is the specialty of the house. Generous, juicy steaks are served with hand-cut French fries and have a faithful following. Diners looking for something more mainstream can opt for a platter of North Sea mussels, a dish of sole meunière or a fresh salad topped with marinated goat's cheese and bacon.
