French cuisine is standard and its emphasis is on the freshest seafood available. Locals claim that waterzooi de poussin (fish chowder) is the best in the city; other dishes include lobster salad, thick-cut steaks, and grilled monkfish with saffron and leeks, served with herb-mashed potatoes.
