6. Pelican Tours & Watersports

After searching reviews for Pelican Dive (now Unique) in Aruba, we called them to arrange for specific dives while on vacation there. When other family members wished to join our dives and contacted them to arrange dives, we found out that: 1. The expected dives were NOT the ones that they had us down for. It took MANY emails and an out-of-country phone call to straighten the dive arrangements out! 2. Once at the site, the personnel in the shop were great and very nice, BUT the dive master couldn't have been more impersonal or unhelpful. We have dove literally around the work from Greece, Italy, Egypt, Belize, the Pacific Northwest and Hawaii and have never encountered the almost non-existent attitude we had onboard. 3. Once home, the other member of our diving family discovered that their original dives had not been remitted correctly. All in all, we would NOT recommend this diving operation to anyone. Period.

My wife and I took the Cozumel Highlights Jeep Tour that we booked through Apple Vacation Tours. I just wanted to let you know that this was the highlight of our vacation and this can be attributed to our two tour guides, Ruben and Edwardo. Both of these guides were very caring. They both were very knowledgeable and answered many questions that my wife and I had. They were also very concerned about the safety of all the people in our tour and we felt very safe with them the whole day. We never felt rushed or that this was just a job for them. They really cared about our well-being and went way beyond what they needed to do to make our day a special one that we will always have happy memories about. I feel that Ruben and Edwardo are a great asset to the company and we wanted to let you know. I would highly recommend this tour and these tour guides to anyone.
