Aruba kayak adventures is based out of Costa Linda hotel, but the bus brings you both there and to the kayaks, which are down close to baby beach. Neil, our trip guide (and bus driver), was a gifted comedian and entertainer and was very well spoken. Part way through the fairly short paddle, we stopped for a history/geography/culture lesson and monologue which Neil made extremely enjoyable, stopping occasionally to splash the other guides. The paddle itself is good for families and beginners, but is not a substantial kayak trip for anyone who has done it. The paddle’s destination is DePalm Island, a little manmade activity spot located just across a small bay from the starting point – it has snorkeling, volleyball, rest rooms, cafeteria and bbq food, and a small but fun water park for the young (or young at heart). We hoped for more snorkeling and kayaking, but had fun anyway.
