3. Driftwood

Not sure at all what all the hype is about at this place? Out of all the restaurants my wife and I dined at during our vacation, this was by far our least favorite. The decor screams of a junior-varsity Long John Silvers in the suburbs; the fish was about as bland as the Mortons frozen stuff - absolutely no flavor - and we ordered the 'special' of the day too; it was spiceless. I ordered a white sangria that tasted like over-sweetened childrens Kool-Aid (and with little to no fruit). Service was decent although there was a massive screw-up with our bill that if my wife hadn't caught, I probably would have way overpaid (they charged for us about 5 things we never ordered); but waitress was very apologetic and fixed it right away, so no issues/complaints there really. All in all though, Aruba has better to offer for sure than this place. I'm not sure if they dumb-down their flavors to appeal to a wider audience, but Driftwood certainly left us longing for more. I can't believe it ranks at #2 on this list?

Excellent authentic seafood cuisine arubian style. A must to go to on your trip! Best around no doubt!!
