3. French Broad River Festival

The Buzz -- Make the French Broad the backdrop to your summer fun at this fantastic festival. Set about 45 minutes from Asheville, it invites you to get away from town and make the most of a camping adventure. Groups like Snake Oil Medicine Show and Acoustic Syndicate perform, artists showcase their wares, kids have their own slate of activities, and adults can compete in rafting and mountain biking races.
