THISSIO.   In the 19th century this place served as the royal stables. Today, it functions as a popular entertainment complex, offering a variety of diversions. At the bar, local hipsters shake their groove things to rock music. In the cafe, a more sedate crowd gathers to sit, drink, and enjoy conversation. Stavlos frequently offers other entertainments as well – Athenians call them "happenings" – such as art exhibits, indie movie screenings, and open-mic nights.
