OMONIA SQUARE.   Traditionally, rebetiko has been the music of the urban poor, but the unique art form, now in the mainstream, has gained appreciation for its beauty and authenticity. This venue is one of the best spots in which to experience rebetiko, thanks largely to its musicians, led by legend Takis Binis. Reservations are essential for the evening show, although the mid-afternoon exhibition is often less crowded. While being serenaded, audience members can nibble on traditional snacks and sip cool drinks.   (© 10Best)
