7. Loxandra

SYNTAGMA.   When you say "fast food" to Athenians, they think "souvlaki" rather than burgers and fries. This chain of restaurants, located throughout the city, makes some of the best. Specialties are chicken Loxandra, a roasted chicken breast served in a homemade pita, and pita Loxandra, which features the same great pita bread stuffed with lamb liver and onions.
