The Buzz -- They started out as an indie band in North Carolina, developing a huge fan base. Today, the Avett Brothers, with their intelligent, emotional lyrics and genre-defying sound, have the backing of a major record label, but that hasn't detracted from their music. Some critics complain that their latest studio-produced album is disappointing, but on stage, the band is every bit as raw and exciting as they've always been. |
