5. Hand in Hand

PONCEY-HIGHLAND.   One of Atlanta's Derek Lawford pubs (along with Fox & Hounds, Prince of Wales, and Rose & Crown), Hand in Hand is an integral part of the Va-Hi nightlife scene. Indeed, neighborhood folks flock here after work to enjoy their favorite British brews and a few rounds of cricket. Tartan-themed carpeting, dark-wood furniture, and cozy fireside seating add to the traditional atmosphere; a menu that features bangers and mash, fish-n-chips, and tomato mop adds to the authenticity.
