I have been going to Famous on and off for six years. Almost all of their bartenders have been there for more than two years, so everytime I walk in the door, they have my drink waiting for me. A fun place to go alone, too, because the friendly staff will keep you entertained. Gets kind of crazy busy later at night with lots of Emory kids. The place has more flatscreen LCD TVs than any other sports bar I can think of, and they are always willing to put your game on the TV closest to you. Food can be hit and miss, but if you stick to traditional bar fare (wings, burgers, nachos, etc) it's pretty good.

This place is the bomb! New owner, 6 state of the art big screens, all new LCD high def flat screens everywhere. New spacious patio where people in northeast Atlanta meet. New menu features 12 different varieties of wings, salads, steaks, speciality burgers, wraps, and much more! Go on Thursdays for the all you can eat ribs at $12.99. Video Dj, Video Trivia, Karaoke, and of course, Texas Hold-Em keeps me coming back.

Ah, this place must be where the Gods watch football. Myself and about 15 friends have been going to Famous for about 6 years to watch the Sunday NFL games. They reserve our tables in the back room. They bring us pitchers until we say "stop." It's not a sports bar, it's a sports PALACE! I honestly look forward every year to going to Famous with all my friends and sitting in the front of the back room to watch EVERY game that is available. God bless Famous.

High turnover rate makes it difficult to see familiar faces behind the bar, watching games is tough when the owners are airing their dirty laundry in the bar.
