MIDTOWN.   Nam's sensual interior mixes fresh flowers, candlelight and charcoal drawings as a seductive backdrop to the menu's vibrant cuisine. The family-run establishment has cultivated quite a loyal following thanks to its beautiful, well-balanced dishes. Many of the items may be unfamiliar, but the staff is happy to offer suggestions such as lotus root salad, steamed sea bass in a banana leaf parcel and "shaking" Kobe beef. Nam's nuoc cham sauce also elicits praise for the additional zest it adds to many a dish. A small patio is available when the weather's nice.   (© 10Best)
