INMAN PARK.   This beloved restaurant is a top choice for classic pasta dishes served with flair. Seasonal favorites include a phenomenal papardelle with wild boar and a perfectly prepared rare tuna pasta. Other options include risotto, saltimbocca, and free-range pheasant with polenta. Desserts are creative and memorable – The chocolate soup? Sinfully good! – and the scope (both in variety and price range) of the wine list is impressive. As for the fashionable setting, think: Black-clad servers, weathered walls and open kitchen. Large storefront windows offer terrific angles of Highland.

Our favorite trattoria in town. The half orders (available only Monday-Friday) fill you up, so order several dishes for a well-rounded meal. We love the seafood risotto and the wood-roasted game. Be sure to have a reservation before you go – it’s a popular spot. (from Southern Living)
