I absolutely love coming here for their fresh sushi, awesome rolls, and all of their kitchen food is amazing like the hamachi kama, chicken wings, udon, tempura. their sushi chef jay always offers fresh recommendations on sushi and makes the dining experience that much more enjoyable. waitresses in kimonos come and serve u. having japanese is about tradition and also fresh fish. sushi huku does just that. i cant wait to go back.

Below are some of the highlights I have had at the Huku: - Ika Shioyaki or Tare - Grilled Whole Squid with Salt or Teriyaki - Kabocha - Japanese Steamed Pumpkin with Fern Bracken - Hamachi Kama - Yellowtail Cheek - Wild Snapper head - Black Cod with Sweet Dark Miso - Oshinko - Japanese Pickles - Halibut Spine meat - Tuna Collar - Fried Salmon Tail - Aji Nigiri and Tataki - Horse Mackerel Marinated in Rice Vinegar and the rest of the Aji is fried - Toragai - Clam - Sweet Shrimp heads Stewed in Miso and Daikon Broth - Sunomono - Abalone Innards - Oyster-like in Taste and Texture

Both experiences at Hayakawa and Huku have been great, but overall I would have to give Huku a much deserved edge. Jey gives a personable-ness to his presentation and higher standard of quality in his fish. Last week, I was given Uni (sea urchin) that is purported to be the #1 best uni in the country. It took him two months to get. Followed by Yellowtail Belly Nigiri, Giant Clam, and Raw Scallops that were to die for.
