THE SILVER LAKE BAND WAS GREAT!! BRING’EM BACK WOW!!!! Last Friday (6/27) at Cowboys Atlanta (in Kennesaw) the Silver Lake Band rocked the house with live music that you could dance to (fast and slow), clap to, sing along with, and just enjoy. The crowd responded by doing just that…dancing, singing, and rocking out during the whole set. That band played a great mix of Southern rock, country, and blues tunes by Lynrd Skynrd, Eric Clapton, Waylon and Willie, Johnny Cash, Brooks and Dunn, BB King, Bob Seeger and others. Something for everybody, nicely paced so you could kick it, dance real close, and keep on going. Everybody was having a great time!! The atmosphere was relaxed (until the band came on), the dress was a wide range of casual, and the crowd was definitely agreeing with the band. LIVE MUSIC and GREAT ENTERTAINMENT. The beer was cold, the music was hot, and the dance floor was in use. Lots of couples, lots of singles and great music to get everybody moving! The band came in on the Breeze, took a walk down Main Street with Marshall Tucker, and left on Free Bird. In between they rocked the whole dang club (not a sad face in the whole place). The Cowboys web site (www.cowboysatlanta.com) says the Silver Lake Band will be back on August 15th. Check ‘em out…you’ll be glad you did. There’re a great band from the local area so get out and hear’em while you can. The thrill is definitely not gone.

I visited this club on the 17th of December 2005. Having been a whiskey afictionado for 15 years, I ordered a Makers and coke. I watched the bartender pour the liquor from the bottle, and mix it with the Coke. Upon tasting it, I quickly determined that I was actually drinking inferior whiskey (most likely Old Crow). Thinking that perhaps I could be mistaken, I ordered the same thing from two other locations from within the club with the same result. Apparently Cowboys is trying to save money by serving an inferior product while charging for a premium one !!!

they need to play rap & r&b music more than that country stuff all the time. cause more people get on the dance floor when they play better music than country!
