VIRGINIA HIGHLAND. An open kitchen and soft lighting add further character to this cozy restaurant, which is often filled to capacity with loyal regulars. Not surprisingly, they can't seem to get enough of the fantastic Italian cuisine, which features white wine-steamed mussels and arugula pear salad as starters. These two dishes perfectly introduce pork saltimbocca, balsamic roasted chicken, and seared Georgia trout with roasted potatoes. Sunday brunch, meanwhile, impresses with vermouth-steamed mussels, pepper encrusted carpaccio, and the frittata of the day. The outdoor patio is popular during warm weather.
