 EDITOR REVIEW: VININGS. Offering shopping with a touch of Southern charm, this open-air shopping center serves as the Vinings' unofficial "city center." The village was conceived in the mid-80s, and the developers went to great lengths to ensure that its buildings matched the architectural style of the area's historic homes. Adding to the village's sense of place are old fashioned street lanterns, a clock tower, brick sidewalks and attractive greenspaces. Among the retailers who keep shops here are Banana Republic, Ann Taylor, White House/Black Market and Antiques of Vinings.
